Josh joined the Entrepreneurial Spark team in 2017 with his primary focus being on the mindset of Entrepreneurs, to enable them to build great businesses and challenge them to be the best that they can be.
Josh started his entrepreneurial journey at the age of 15 when he established his own record label. The label ran for 6 years, amassing over 80 artists and afforded him the opportunity to support Bon Jovi. After selling the label, Josh completed a degree in Business and Entrepreneurship and became Product Manager at Birmingham-based GIS firm, miso. A final foray into the music industry saw Josh work for music tech start-up ROLI as their Head of Global Events before leaving to join Entrepreneurial Spark.
Josh’s aim is to make people think positively about themselves and their businesses. He views his role as holding up the mirror to entrepreneurs to help them identify areas that are going to hold them back from, or push them towards, achieving their vision – even if those areas aren’t within the business. He’s a big believer in; ‘If you love what you do, you never work a day in your life’ and feels he hasn’t been to work for months.
